This year the H.C.E.M.C will continue to sponsor its own grant program, which will allow for funds to be awarded earlier in the year. What a great way to start the year, with funding for an innovative and engaging mathematics project. Awards of up to $500.00 per grant will be awarded to applicants who submit creative projects involving mathematics instruction. Two grants will be awarded in November, and two will be awarded in February. Interested applicants should complete the attached application and send four copies to Jill Bucholtz, Just Elementary, Route 6. The first application deadline is November 7. Grant recipients will be announced in mid November, and these winners will be invited to share their projects at the H.C.E.M.C. dinner in April. The application for the February Grant Program will be made available at a later date.
